Bill fought in WW l and was shot in the arm while serving in France. He always said that he ..."wanted to be buried with the boys"... so he was laid to rest in the military section at Mount Prospect Cemetery in Toronto, Canada. He made sergeant rank once but was busted to corporal for misconduct (fighting). The "C.E. C.E.F" stands for Canadian Engineers Canadian Expeditionary Force
